IBPS Recruitment Selection Process

The three steps of the selection process, which are described below, will be used to choose the qualified candidates:

  • Preliminary Stage – There are three sections in this first stage: Reasoning, English, and Quantitative Aptitude. To pass all three exams, candidates must get the minimal cut-off marks, which will be determined by IBPS. A sufficient number of candidates in each category are chosen to move on to the following round, which is the main stage, based on the qualifications.
  • Mains Stage – The main stage appearances will only be granted to eligible contenders. The organisation of this phase, which consists of five sections—reasoning and computer aptitude, general/economic/banking awareness, English, and data analysis and interpretation—will be completely different from the preliminary stage. The candidates’ scores at this point will assist them land a good spot on the final merit list.
  • Interview – Following the primary phase, selected applicants will be contacted for an interview to assess the range of skills needed to carry out the PO’s responsibilities at the designated banks.

The candidates must achieve both a section cut-off and an overall IBPS PO cut-off to be chosen for the IBPS PO. The chosen applicants will then be contacted and asked to bring the necessary original documentation for the biometric authentication and document verification procedures. The last phase, the medical fitness level, is reached by all eligible applicants. Following that, seats will be assigned based on the final merit list of the selected candidates, which will be released after that.
