How many vacancies were there in the TNPSC exam?
In order to fill 6,244 positions in various government departments, including those for Field Surveyor, Draughtsman, Typist, Village Administrative Officer (VAO), Junior Assistant (Non-Security), and Junior Assistant (Security), the Group 4 exam was held. Between January 30, 2024, and February 28, 2024, there was an application window, and many people applied with great fervour for these opportunities.
Exam Overview
The exam for TNPSC Group 4 was held in an offline format, where candidates had to answer 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The exam was conducted into two main sections: Part A and Part B. Part A included 100 questions with a total of 150 marks for the Tamil Eligibility-cum-Scoring Test.
On the other hand, the Part B test was held to check the General Studies and Aptitude & Mental Ability of candidates. Each test totalling 150 marks aligned with the SLCC Standard. The entire exam was scheduled for 3 hours, and candidates needed to perform in both sections to increase their chances of selection.
